Request an assessment and quote Why training is not optional. Article 153-A of the Federal Labor Law requires employers to provide training to all workers. The DC-3 certificate is the document that proves it, and it can only be issued by an external training agent for the courses it has registered with the STPS. NOM-030-STPS-2009 also requires an assessment and a program derived from it, which is why our catalog is organized by standard.
Frequently asked questions
What is the DC-3 certificate and who can issue it?
It is the certificate of job skills or competencies (Constancia DC-3) that proves a worker has been trained. It is issued by an external training agent registered with the STPS for the courses it has on record. SICSSOM issues it under registration SSC-190417-RV8-0013. Article 153-A of Mexico's Federal Labor Law requires employers to train all their staff, and the DC-3 is the document that proves it.
Do you offer online courses or courses open to the public?
Today we deliver courses to closed company groups, in person or live online. Soon, with the SICSSOM Academy, anyone will be able to take recorded courses, sit the exam and download their DC-3.
How many participants per group?
From 1 participant, with no fixed limit: we serve groups of whatever size your company needs. In hands-on courses (work at heights, confined spaces, brigades) we split the staff into groups so everyone practices; the proposal states how each course will be organized.
Do you work outside Jalisco?
Yes, in all 32 Mexican states. The STPS registration and the DC-3 certificate are valid nationwide.
How far in advance should I book?
We can schedule a course with 24 hours’ notice, subject to calendar availability. If you have a deadline, mention it when you request your quote.
How often should a course be repeated?
It depends on the standard and the job: some require periodic refresher training and others require it when the process or equipment changes. The proposal states the frequency that applies to each course.
