How a risk is ranked

In the study we rate each hazard by its probability and its consequence. The result defines what is addressed first and with which measures. Choose a cell in the matrix.

Is it the same as the NOM-030 assessment?

They complement each other. The NOM-030 assessment checks whether your workplace complies with each standard that applies to it; the risk analysis evaluates each hazard by job position and process (probability, consequence and existing controls) and defines the measures to reduce it. Together they feed the annual safety and health program and the Internal Civil Protection Program, and they are the documents the authority asks for first in an inspection.

Is the risk analysis included in the Internal Program?

Yes. If you hire the Internal Program with us, the analysis of the building’s internal and external risks is already included. As a separate service it makes sense when an insurer or a tender requires it, or when you need to select PPE by job.
