Who is required to have one?

The General Civil Protection Law establishes that each building operates its Internal Civil Protection Program through its internal unit, advised by a consultant with a current registration. In Jalisco, the State Unit and municipal units require it from industries, businesses, offices, schools, hotels, hospitals and any building that receives staff or the public. Without a program, the authority may impose fines and even the temporary closure of the building.

What the authority checks

That the program was prepared by a registered consultant, that the brigades are trained and accredited, that documented drills exist, that fire equipment is current and that the building has correct signage and evacuation routes. Our work covers all five points.

Call 33 4387 9184
How often is the PIPC updated?

Every year, and also when the building changes its use, floor area, headcount or processes. The update reviews the risk analysis, the brigade roster, the drills carried out and the validity of certificates and technical opinions, and is filed again with Civil Protection. We notify you in advance so the program is never expired when a visit comes.

What do I need to have ready to start?

Drawings or a sketch of the building, headcount per shift, inventory of chemicals and fire equipment, and the building licenses or technical opinions. You do not need to have everything: during the assessment visit we survey what is missing and tell you which documents you must obtain and which ones we prepare.

Do you work outside Jalisco?

We prepare Internal Programs for properties in Jalisco, where we hold consultant registration (CONS-028-02/2026). Outside Jalisco we do provide training, brigades, STPS consulting, risk studies and supervision.

How long does the Internal Program take?

About 15 days from the moment we receive your complete documentation. After filing, the authority’s response follows its own timeline, which varies by municipality.

Do you guarantee Civil Protection approval?

No. Approval is granted by the authority and also depends on the building meeting requirements: current fire equipment, signage, technical reports and brigades. We put the program together, file it, address the observations and tell you clearly what you need to correct.

Who handles the filing with Civil Protection?

We do. We file the program with the unit that corresponds to your building, give you the filing receipt and follow up until the response.
